On the other hand a movie will never become a perfect cinema star without a good fashion sense. We have seen lot many numbers of fashion designers whose work is getting acclaimed through stars, producers, directors and this is also visible in magazines which are coming up with more innovative ways of portraying a story.

This was a documentary, released on the 10th of July, 2009 in Canada. The movie gives a sneak view on the life of the legendary fashion designer, Valentino. The story is all about friendship, a retrospective, and mentions about the haute couture as business. In the movie, one can see the 45- years career graph of the fashion designer. The film is a beautiful depiction how he was always in pursuits of beauty, showcases the business decisions he undertook, his works, designer shows which were arranged by Valentino. The movie also portrays the time when he was bestowed with the French Legion of Honor medal.
The Devil Wears Prada
The Devil Wears Prada, released on 30th June 2006. This was an American comedy-drama film, which was originally based on the novel by the same name, written by Lauren Weisberger, in the year 2003. The story is about a college graduate Anne Hathaway as Andrea (“Andy”) Sachs who visits New York City and lands a job as Miranda Priestly co-assistant, who is a powerful fashion magazine editor.
Zoolander
Zoolander, released on the 28th of September2001. The storyline of the movie revolves around Zoolander becoming the pawn of corrupt fashion executives and how they plotted to assassinate thePrime Minister of Malaysia. Although the film received positive reviews, generally from the critics and received a lot of success also from the box office success, but it was believed to have made fun of the fashion industry.
Coco Before Chanel
Coco before Chanel, released on 22nd April, in the year 2009 in Belgium. As the name suggests, this was a French film based on the life of the well-known French fashion designer, Coco Channel. The movie was nominated for three European Film Awards, four BAFTA Awards, Academy Award for Best Costume Design, and sixCesar Awards.

The September Issue, released on 16th January 2009. This movie was known to be an American documentary film and showcases behind-the-scenes drama, and the story revolves around the making of theVogue September 2007 issue. What goes on behind the curtains in making the magazine a success has been very beautifully showcased in this movie. Quite a few number of well-known and very influential people from the fashion industry including some fashion designers, models and editors also gave special appearances in this movie.
