Top 7 Fashion Trends To Look Forward To In 2020

From a sartorial viewpoint, the fashion trends of summer/ spring season is most relatable to the sub-tropical weather Indian weather. The fashion industry is evolving, and it’s evolving fast. The New Year and a new season call for a new you. What this hints at, is a much updated 2020 wardrobe that incorporates or at the least, brushes upon the top hits of the summer/ spring trends. That does not mean you totally ignore 2019 in its entirety. The trends of 2020 are more of a metamorphosed version of 2019 rather than a total fashion overhaul. For an example, utilitarianism and its core elements like khaki and the easy going attitude are still ruling the ramp. However, trends like the choker that pretty much dominated most of 2020 are fading away and navel-grazing pendants are taking the fashion industry by storm.

Here are a few fashion trends that we are looking forward to in 2020-

1.RAINBOW STRIPES

Rainbow-bright stripes are trending, be it bold or skinny. This is great news for all those monochromatically inclined individuals or the black-clad fashion enthusiasts because we could all use a dash of eccentricity in our wardrobe. While the bright trend would want to make you pick it up instantly, sporting bold trends can be rather daunting. But with a little bit of effort and experimenting, you are bound to carry it off in class.

2.NEW SHIRTING

With every new season, fashion designers work to reinvent the component of the wardrobe that is probably a staple for work wear- the button-down shirt. The 2020 spring/ summer variation of the shirt looks like shirtdresses, banker-stripes, one-shoulder tops with mid-split and oversized shirts with extended shoulders and long sleeves.

3. 80’s GLAM

Finally moving on from the70s glam, we have stepped into the era of the80s glam. These come with puffed-up sleeves, dramatic ruffles and unabashed glam vibes.

4.BRA OUT

Do not let it lurk beneath the blouses and dresses. It is time to let them out in the spotlight. Be it floral or bedazzled, team them up with high waist culottes or a knee-grazing skirt. To add an edge to your ensemble, throw a coordinated blazer over you. Another trend that has been the rage amongst most celebrities is sheer. The translucency of the material gets the glam quotient up by a notch.

5.OVERSIZED BAGS

The size of the bag reaches a certain degree of exaggeration. These babies will hold just about anything and everything. This trend has an edge of convenience and is definitely not very difficult to master.

6.FLATFORMS

These come as a blessing for the ladies who would really like to add the height yet want to avoid all the discomfort. So if you hate the heels and love the height, add them to your collection already!

7.NAVEL-GRAZING NECKLACE

These have clearly replaced the choker trend of 2019. These long neck-pieces come as an absolute opposite to the much popular fashion trend. It can be paired with a traditional ensemble as well.
